ð¡ðð "LITERALLY" has been 'evolving' not 'dying' as you put it, just like words always have. It's just a new way to mean 'figuratively' now, not the end of the language at all. "Literally" has been around since 1953, "figuratively" since 1884, and we're not even halfway through! âï¸ð
